Here's a small gem of an infographic that is definitely a resource for UI beginners, and professionals alike. I like to keep this one handy, and keep coming back to it every now, and then.

I’ve been trying to better the design of this blog, and the site for quite some time now; since last year, actually. It’s been an ever evolving process of testing, waiting, observing, and implementing small changes throughout. It’s also been tedious. That, more now so ever. Because, of this whole new design that got implemented not too long ago. And design is much, much more than just how everything looks, and feels - something that I learned the hard way.

Owning to these small changes that keep happening here, and to the overall interface of this blog, I do like to keep in touch with, and learn more about user interface design, user experience design, and general design concepts - there’s ton of it out there, to learn from. I also have this habit of bookmarking or saving some tutorials, ebooks, infographics, etc. to keep coming back to, for refreshers. I also think some are worth sharing than others. And, those land up here on the blog.

The 10 Commandments Of User Interface Design

A great, succinct infographic that sums of the 10 steps of UI design. Great for starting with UI, and great as a refresher of sorts. It can also be used as a checklist of sorts, to keep a tab on the entire design process.

I love the fact that the steps involved in UI design, are so simply represented here in this infographic. The infographic is from DesignMantic, and they also have this in Espanol. Each of the ten steps or commandments, have pointers down in the column - which, again, stresses on what is involved the do’s and don’ts, etc. within each of the design steps.
