Hello! Big fan of Epic Fantasy Fiction here. Yesterday while browsing Reddit, I came across a flow chart of sorts that helps you start a new series, based on some very valid, and logical questions. So, I thought I’d share it here too! Just incase any of you happen to have missed it, over at Reddit 1.
The above flow chart is brilliant! I think this was needed for someone who would want to be a convert, especially after the whole Game of Thrones debacle (yes, I am opinionated). The folks over at Best Fantasy Books HQ , do know what they’re about. So go through the above flow chart, and pick a series. I know for a fact that except for a few of them, none others will disappoint (again, yes, I’m very opinionated). And if you happen to land up on “Crank it up to Maximum” somehow, I would recommend, both, The Wheel of Time series, and Malazan Book of The Fallen series. I’ve read both, and consider both them work of art. There are a lot of people out there who would have a lot of bad things to say about both, I’m sure, but I for one love’m both.
