Writing Prompt For
Day XIX of NaNoWriMo:
“Don’t count the days. Make the days count.” - Muhammad Ali
Every day when you, and I awake, wherever we are - it’s a day filled with ‘what ifs’. Everyday, we get to ask questions, are able to discover, and rediscover how everything, and everyone relates to us. We get to make choices that will decide the potential of the next day, if that day comes. I guess one of the most important things you can do today is be in the moment you’re in, and fully utilise it. Drop, by drop these moments fill up the bucket of today. And when each of the those drops count, your today counts. Don’t wait, don’t give your potential that reserved for tomorrow, away to doubt. You, and I both know what we want. It’s only the matter of translating the thoughts into actions. It’s only the matter of not counting days, and instead making days count. These are my thoughts, on what I interpret from the quote above, by Muhammad Ali.
What are your thoughts? How do you go on about making your days count? Write, and share it with me by leaving a comment below. I would love to feature what you’ve written in a post here on this blog.
