You know, as an otaku I really appreciate Anime Trakr. It's made tracking, making lists, and interacting with anime lovers a breeze.

Are you an anime fan? Sure you are. Just like me. Do you own an iOS device? If you do, you gotta get this app! That is if you pride yourself an otaku! Yes, I took it there!

Track, Watch, Shortlist Anime, And Meet Other Otaku From Right Within The App

It’s like MAL, but not. It’s handy, feature packed, versatile, and what’s more is that you can watch anime while you’re traveling - from right within the app. For free! Much sugoi na!?

Here’s what it looks like:

As shown above, another feature that I deeply care about is the ability to keep track of what you are watching, have watched, and are planning to watch. The Explore pane (see above) lets you explore anime based on what’s airing today, what’s airing this current season, based on genre, year, studio, and classification - And, thats not all at all! Probably the best part of the app, is the community within the app. You really feel right at home, with all the kyoudai hanging around. Okaeri!

Want personal a recommendation to watch something you haven’t? No problem. Just ask the community within the app, and you shall receive. Want a list of all anime coming up this season or the next? No problem! Flick to the search pane, and everything is right there. You even get notified when a new episode of your current favorite anime has been released!

*Okaeri*.

On a more serious note though, I really do like Anime Trakr. It has everything an anime lover needs to keep track of what she’s watching, shortlist upcoming anime she’s interested in, get involved within the community, talk to other anime lovers or to simply watch an anime while on the go. By far one of the most used apps on my device. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who likes to watch anime, and would like to keep a tab on all that she is watching - if not more.

The thing I do not like is the fact that the app is only available for iOS devices. It isn’t available (at the time of writing this post) for Android based devices yet.
